KEYHOLE ENTRY TABLE

The idea for this piece came from a conversation with k2 design in Asheville, North Carolina. they asked if I could create a taller version of the double-curl table, So this is a riff on that design. the bent plywood is not long enough to make one continuous shape, so I cut it in the middle. The freeform shape that fills the resulting gap and connects the legs is made from sapele (african mahogany) retrieved from a mid-century modern renovation project. The yellow/orange accent was selected because it seems to work well with the natural brown in the sapele.
